Account Deletion

Delete Your Bechly Account

This page explains how to permanently delete your Bechly account and all associated data.

This action is permanent. Once confirmed, your account, listings, and all related data cannot be recovered.

1 Delete account from the Bechly app

  1. 1Open the Bechly app on your device.
  2. 2Sign in to your account.
  3. 3Tap Account in the bottom navigation.
  4. 4Open Settings.
  5. 5Select Delete Account.
  6. 6Tap Delete My Account Permanently and confirm.

2 Delete account from the Bechly website

  1. 1Go to bechly.pk/account.
  2. 2Sign in to your Bechly account.
  3. 3Open the Delete Account section.
  4. 4Click Delete My Account Permanently and confirm.

Data that will be deleted

When your account is deleted, Bechly permanently removes:

  • Your profile information (name, phone, email, avatar)
  • All listings you have posted
  • Listing photos and videos
  • Your chat conversations and messages
  • Saved / favourite ads
  • Login sessions and access tokens
  • OTP and phone verification records

Data that may be retained

Some records may be retained where required for audit, security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, or legal and compliance purposes. These records are kept without any link to your personal identity wherever possible.

Retention period

Most account-related data is deleted immediately upon account deletion. Any records retained for security, fraud prevention, legal, or compliance purposes are kept only for as long as strictly necessary, then permanently removed.
